Two-phase hyperbolic model for porous media saturated with a viscous fluid and its application to wavefields simulation

چکیده

A new hyperbolic two-phase model of a porous deformable medium saturated with viscous fluid is presented and some its features or performances are discussed. The governing equations derived in the framework Symmetric Hyperbolic Thermodynamically Compatible (SHTC) systems. accounts for such dissipative mechanisms as interfacial friction dissipation saturating fluid. Both modeled relaxation type source terms. linearized version under assumption instantaneous phase pressures application to modeling propagation small-amplitude waves We observe that accounting viscosity may significantly affect dispersion fast slow compression waves. Additionally, shear wave attenuates rapidly due which makes it difficult this most test cases presented. However, can be observed vicinity interfaces between regions different porosity.
